The Professional Side
Dr. Cadra’s passion for dentistry started early in his life, inspired by his father, an oral maxillofacial surgeon. Working alongside his dad as a dental assistant, Dr. Cadra discovered his love for the entire dental experience — caring for patients, practicing dentistry, and working with a dedicated dental team. Interacting with other enthusiastic dentists in the community further solidified his decision to pursue a career in general dentistry.
Dr. Cadra began his educational journey at California State University, Chico, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in resort and lodging management. During college, he gained valuable experience in the luxury hospitality industry, including working at prestigious properties like the Ritz-Carlton in Lake Tahoe. Although he enjoyed the resort setting, Dr. Cadra felt a strong calling to return to school and follow his passion for dentistry.
He pursued postgraduate education at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida, earning a master’s in biomedical science. Dr. Cadra then attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, where he obtained his degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). To further hone his clinical skills, he completed a residency program at NYU Langone Hospitals, earning a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. During his residency, Dr. Cadra worked with an experienced team of doctors at Fenway’s Community Health Center, serving Boston’s diverse patient population.
Dr. Cadra’s commitment to clinical excellence is at the heart of everything he does. His recent continuing education efforts have included extensive training through the Clinical Mastery Series, a nationally respected postgraduate education program for dentists. This advanced training focuses on the theory and application of full-mouth restorative principles, complex treatment planning, functional occlusion (including TMJ conditions), aesthetic, and sleep dentistry.
The Clinical Mastery Series is known for helping dentists refine their skills through hands-on, real-world cases taught by leaders in the field of comprehensive dentistry. Through this program, Dr. Cadra has deepened his expertise in creating predictable, long-lasting results in even the most complex dental reconstruction cases.

Outside the office, Dr. Cadra enjoys a vibrant and active lifestyle centered on family, friends, and fitness. Whether he’s working out at the gym, surfing, skiing, snowboarding, or enjoying other outdoor adventures, he loves staying active and embracing new experiences. Since making Santa Clarita his home in 2021, Dr. Cadra has been grateful to be part of such a welcoming and thriving community. He especially cherishes time spent with his wife, Meredith, and their two daughters, creating lasting memories together through shared activities and quality family time.
